Akademický senát UK dnes na svém zasedání projednal Zprávu kontrolní skupiny AS UK o zjištěních kontroly hospodaření za období od 21. 12. 2023 až do vyhlášení kontroly dne 8. 11. 2024 a vyjádření rektorky ze dne 20.1.2025 k této zprávě.

Rektorka UK ve svém vyjádření reagovala na všechna zjištění uvedené ve zprávě kontrolní skupiny. Současně ve svém vyjádření formulovala i možná nápravná opatření ke zjištěním uvedeným ve zprávě. Ve svém vyjádření rektorka také připouští, že si je vědoma, že v krizovém období nebyla vždy věnována dostatečná pozornost nezbytným administrativním procesům a formálním náležitostem. Skutečnost, že kontrolní skupina našla nedostatky zejména v prvních týdnech po tragické události na Filozofické fakultě UK a po 9. 5. 2024 již další nedostatky nekonstatovala, svědčí o tom, že nešlo o závažná systémová pochybení, ale o chyby vzniklé ve spojení s mimořádnou situací.

Rektorka a kvestor UK již činí některá ve vyjádření uvedená nápravná opatření.

Diskuze ke Zprávě kontrolní skupiny bude pokračovat na dalším zasedání AS UK, které se bude konat dne 7. 2. 2025.

Statement on the discussion of the management audit report at the AS CU

At its meeting today, the Academic Senate of Charles University discussed the Report of the Audit Group of the AS UK on the findings of the audit of management for the period from 21 December 2023 until the announcement of the audit on 8 November 2024 and the Rector's statement of 20 January 2025 on this report.

In her statement, the Rector of the CU responded to all the findings presented in the report of the audit group. At the same time, in her statement she also formulated possible corrective measures to the findings in the report. In her statement, the Rector also acknowledges that she is aware that in a period of crisis sufficient attention was not always paid to the necessary administrative processes and formalities. The fact that the audit team found deficiencies, particularly in the first weeks after the tragic event at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University, and did not identify any further deficiencies after 9 May 2024, shows that these were not serious systemic failures, but errors arising in connection with the emergency situation.

The Rector and the Bursar of the University are already taking some of the corrective measures mentioned in the statement.

The discussion on the Report of the Review Group will continue at the next meeting of the AS UK, which will take place on 7 February 2025.
