Memorandum o spolupráci, týkající se komplexního zdravotního pojištění pro zahraniční studenty z tzv. „třetích zemí“, podepsali zástupci Slavia pojišťovny a Univerzity Karlovy. Jeho cílem je usnadnit právě těmto studentům výběr pojištění, které je pro ně nezbytné také kvůli získání víza. Spolupráce mezi pojišťovnou a univerzitou jim nabízí nejenom vyšší komfort při jeho sjednání, ale také větší jistotu při využití zdravotnických zařízení v České republice.

„O naše pojištění mají cizinci velký zájem, protože jim poskytuje atraktivní finanční limity a širokou síť smluvních zdravotnických zařízení, včetně oblíbené on-line aplikace ulekare.cz, kde mohou prostřednictvím e-mailu nebo telefonu probrat svůj zdravotní stav,“ říká generální ředitel Slavia pojišťovny Karel Waisser. Specialisté, zajišťující tuto službu, hovoří několika cizími jazyky a reprezentují odbornosti napříč celým zdravotnictvím.

„Jedná se o službu našim zahraničním studujícím, kterou mohou, ale také samozřejmě nemusejí využít. Univerzita Karlova se snaží maximálně ulehčit veškeré administrativní kroky spojené s jejich studiem u nás. Dodat jim informace o zdravotním pojištění je rozhodně jedním z důležitých kroků k jejich bezproblémovému příjezdu,“ dodává rektorka Univerzity Karlovy Milena Králíčková.

Komplexní zdravotní pojištění cizinců Slavia pojišťovny, které je téměř srovnatelné s českým veřejných zdravotním pojištěním, má vysoké limity plnění. Charles University signs memorandum with Slavia Insurance

A memorandum of cooperation concerning comprehensive health insurance for foreign students from so-called "third countries" has been signed by representatives of Slavia Insurance and Charles University. Its aim is to make it easier for these students to choose the insurance they need, which is also necessary for obtaining a visa. The cooperation between the insurance company and the university not only offers them greater convenience in arranging insurance, but also greater certainty when using healthcare facilities in the Czech Republic.

"Foreigners are very interested in our insurance because it offers attractive financial limits and a wide network of contracted healthcare facilities, including the popular online application ulekare.cz, where they can discuss their health via email or telephone," says Karel Waisser, CEO of Slavia pojišťovna. The specialists providing this service speak several foreign languages and represent expertise across the entire healthcare sector.

"This is a service for our foreign students, which they can use, but of course they don't have to. Charles University strives to make all the administrative steps associated with their studies here as easy as possible. Providing them with information about health insurance is definitely one of the important steps towards their smooth arrival," adds Milena Králíčková, Rector of Charles University.

Slavia pojišťovna's comprehensive health insurance for foreigners, which is almost comparable to Czech public health insurance, has high coverage limits. In the case of medical care or patient transport, these reach up to CZK 10 million (at least EUR 400,000).
