Charles University supports teams collaborating within the 4EU+ Alliance through the 4EU+ Synergy Projects scheme. Academic staff and students of Charles University may apply for financial support for collaboration with colleagues from at least two other 4EU+ universities (Heidelberg Universität, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, Sorbonne Université, Københavns Universitet, Université de Genève, Università degli Studi di Milano and Uniwersytet Warszawski).
Through this funding, academic staff and students can implement joint research, educational, and innovation activities with partner universities, organise meetings, and develop new forms of cooperation in science and education.
Applications may be submitted twice a year, by 15 April and 15 October. The project duration may range from 12 to 36 months, with the amount of funding determined by the length of the project. Whether a project is classified as academic or student depends on whether the principal investigator is a member of CU academic staff (employee of Charles University) or a CU student. The project end date must fall within the period 1 January – 31 August.
