a. |
Studying at a university abroad for one to two semesters for full-time students, in particular: • Students on the basis of an inter-university agreement on direct cooperation • Students participating in joint PhD programmes – taking into account joint degrees, double degrees, and cotutelle • Students in a master’s study programme completing a stay as “free movers” • Students in a PhD study programme completing a stay as “free movers” especially: - in connection with reciprocity - with regard to a long-term exchange - with a presentation of their own research results For students in a PhD study programme, the entire stay abroad must be an integral part of their curriculum. For students in a master’s study programme, the stay abroad must be at least partially reflected in their curriculum. |

International students studying at Charles University • Students on the basis of an inter-university agreement on cooperation • Full-time students of PhD and master’s programmes of study taking into account joint programmes – joint degrees, double degrees, cotutelle, and “free movers” |

Stays of international university employees or researchers at the university • Introducing innovative elements into instruction • Expanding the current state of instruction in a specific subject area • Working in several faculties at Charles University • Preparing a CU workplace for participating in a joint international project • An employee from a university abroad working at Charles University as a part of a sabbatical • A short-term lecture or research stay at Charles University |
d. |
Short-term scientific or research stays abroad especially: • as part of preparing a joint programme (especially a PhD programme) with a prestigious institution abroad This does not apply to trips relating to conferences, seminars, congresses, etc. A stay must be for at least three weeks. |
• In the summer semester: from 1 February 2024 to 28 March 2024
• In the winter semester: from 16 September 2024 to 31 October 2024
Rector’s Directive no. 44/2022 on setting the priorities for 2023 is hereby repealed.
