Research Support Office – European Centre and the Faculty of Education invite you to a workshop on Effective Grant Writing for Early-Career Researchers led by ERC Consolidator grantee Prof. Miri Yemini from Technion Israel Institute of Technology.

This workshop is designed to demystify the grant writing process and equip you with the tools necessary to craft persuasive proposals that resonate with funders, using European Research Council (ERC) grants as an example. Whether you are seeking funding for your dissertation research or planning future projects, this workshop will provide comprehensive insights into the strategies that lead to successful grant applications.
Additionally, it will offer information on the support mechanisms provided by the European Centre Rectorate at Charles University.

About the speaker:
Professor Miri Yemini is a full Professor of Education in the Faculty of Education for Science and Technology at Technion. There, she leads a research group focusing on global dimensions of education. The research group conducts multidisciplinary studies aimed at understanding policy-making processes in the field of education, examining the practices of various stakeholders in educational systems worldwide, and proposing approaches to enhance educational practices within and beyond schools. Between 2023 and 2028, Professor Yemini is leading a large international research funded by the European Research Council, aiming to study youth activism in diverse contexts, including climate crisis and human rights. Research within the group belongs to the fields of comparative education and sociology of education.
