The Communication Department reports to the Member of the Rector’s Board for Communications, who also serves as the spokesperson for Charles University.

The Department is responsible for internal and external communication and media relations. It supports the university leadership in public communication and the presentation of Charles University, and assists faculties and other university units with their communication activities. It also monitors the university’s media coverage and evaluates its communication activities.
