Research group leader, ERC Starting Grant PI at Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University
Expertise and focus: |
My research explores children's reading experiences, especially in their embodied and imaginative nature. I completed a Ph.D. at Stockholm University in 2013, where I then continued as postdoctoral fellow. I have collaborated with colleagues from over fifteen countries and countless disciplines ranging from pedagogy and librarianship to philosophy and neuroscience, and have also worked extended periods in England, Canada and Demark. Since 2020, I run my own research group at Charles University, currently funded by the European Research Council via my ERC Starting Grant, WONDRE (Ways of Imagining in Children's Lives with Information Texts, 2024-2029). |
