Japanese scholarships


Cooperation with Japanese universities is intended primarily for students of Japanese studies at FF. We recommend checking on the website of the partner university whether it is possible to study as an exchange student in English.


The financial contribution for mobility can be drawn from the Mobility Fund. For more information consult your faculty coordinator.













  • Participating faculties: FF, FSV, PF

  • Number of available slots: 3 AY-long or 6 semester-long stays

  • Conditions: The agreement exempts from paying tuition.

  • Conditions: The agreement exempts from paying tuition.

  • Conditions: The agreement is intended for postgraduate students. The receiving institution pays for accommodation and a stipend for interns from the CU.

At most Japanese universities, it is possible to apply for japanese scholarships MEXT (Mombukagakusho) or JASSO.
