Academic degree Ph.D. (or equivalent) in a relevant field with deep mathematical knowledge, professional experience in the field, positive attitude towards pedagogical work, ability to integrate scientific activities, teaching and supervising student work, constant publication activity in the field in impact journals or in equivalent and recognized journals in the field and experience from stays in foreign workplaces. Extensive experience in processing satellite data from various types of instrumental equipment is also required. Specific experience gained from theoretical studies of the spectral properties of the solar wind and active knowledge of the applications of relevant simulation and theoretical models are an advantage.

Candidates who progress to the second round of the selection procedure will be invited to an interview. The interview may be conducted by means of information and communication technology if justified, at the request of the candidate. The Committee may invite selected candidates to give a lecture to the academic community of the Faculty.
