Human Rights Champion: Milada Horáková Walks introduces international students to the life of Milada Horáková, a courageous advocate for women’s rights and democracy. We’ll visit key places connected to her story, including the Karolinum, Prague New City Hall, and the Old Town Square site of the Women’s National Council. Her legacy invites us to reflect on resilience, mentorship, and how individuals can spark meaningful change in the world.

This online workshop offers a comprehensive approach to enhancing well-being within academia, with a focus on postdoctoral researchers. Participants will explore the current state of well-being globally and locally, engaging in interactive discussions to define well-being and learn evidence-based methods for its measurement. Facilitated by PhDr. Jana Kočí, Ph.D., this workshop connects science and experience to provide tools for flourishing in an academic environment. More Information here.

This course will introduce the basic principles of open science practices and will further focus on open access publishing and opening the publication process. The attendees will learn about different strategies how to provide open access to their publications and how to make their work reusable.
