Evaluation Committee

The committees for programmes supporting research at Charles University are advisory bodies of the university that contribute to ensuring the quality and transparency of the assessment and evaluation of internal research support programmes, currently in particular the UNCE and Primus programmes.

There are three committees:

for the area of humanities and social sciences (“SSH”),

for the area of medical sciences including biomedicine (“MED”), and

for the area of natural sciences, mathematics, and computer science (“SCI”).

(Clicking on the name displays the current composition of the committee.)

The core task of the committees is the expert assessment and evaluation of submitted applications and project or programme proposals, as well as interim, review, and final reports of supported projects and programmes, and, where applicable, other related documents (such as requests for extension of project funding).

The Statute of the Committees was issued by Rector’s Degree No. 12/2020.

In accordance with Article 4(9) of the Statute, the Rules of Procedure of the Committees were issued and adopted by the Committee for Medical Sciences including Biomedicine on 22 April 2020, by the Committee for Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Computer Science on 23 April 2020, and by the Committee for Humanities and Social Sciences on 28 April 2020.
