I am a dialectologist and a Polish and Czech scholar. Academic interests: contemporary and historical dialectology, linguistic geography, subdialects online, researchers’ cooperation with the local communities in documenting subdialects. 2018-2024 in charge of project 0060/NPRH7/H11/86/2018 Regionalne słowniki tematyczne języka mieszkańców Wielkopolski – powiaty gnieźnieński i koniński (Regional thematic dictionaries of the language spoken in Wielkopolska, Gniezno and Konin counties).

Motivation: 

I enjoy talking to students and young scientists because they often have a new, fresh way of looking at issues. I treat mentoring as an opportunity to pass on to others what I know and can do.
