The Czech-Bavarian University Agency (BTHA) and the Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (BAYHOST) offer annual scholarships for university students and graduates. The aim of the scholarship program is to support academic and student cooperation between Bavaria and the Czech Republic.
The scholarship is intended to fund follow-up master’s or doctoral studies, or long-term study stays at a public university in Bavaria.
The scholarship is awarded for one academic year and may be extended up to two additional times upon request, for a maximum total of three years.
It is generally paid in the form of 12 monthly installments of 853 EUR.
