Charleston Programme Call 2025 Results

We are delighted to announce that the evaluation phase of the CHARLESTON programme (MSCA COFUND) has been successfully completed.

The programme received 48 proposals, reviewed by 23 international experts, who participated in 47 consensus meetings and 18 interviews.

Following this evaluation process, Charles University, in partnership with the European Commission, will co-fund 10 postdoctoral projects. These projects contribute to 13 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, reflecting the global impact of the research supported by CHARLESTON.

The selected projects cover a wide range of scientific fields, from natural sciences to social and humanities topics. Each project addresses pressing global challenges and exemplifies innovative, high-quality research.

For those whose proposals were not selected this time, there is another opportunity: the second call for applications will open in Spring 2026, with funding available for another 10 postdoctoral projects.
