The second call of the Charleston programme will open in early March 2026 and is expected to remain open for three months. Evaluation results should be available in early October, and the earliest possible start date for funded projects will be 1 December 2026.

In this call, a total of 10 projects will be funded. Each fellowship will run for 27–30 months. Researchers will spend 24 months at Charles University and 3 to 6 months in non-academic institutions on a secondment.
