Previous mentoring experience: 

- Informally, advising a number of younger colleagues both from the Czech Republic and abroad. I have founded an interest group - part of ICON-S (an international learned society on public law), which discusses pros and cons of international and combined careers.

Motivation: 

I have been extremely lucky to meet the right people at the right moment - be it before I left legal practice and went to do a PhD (DPhil) in Oxford, or later, at different points of my career. I just want to give back and do the same for people who try to enter academia now, when everything is so much more difficult for them. And as a "researcher-expat" I especially want to advise colleagues from here, my home country.
