Journalism and Communication students can apply to Concordia University only in the autumn selection process. We would also like to point out that for the January - April semester, students applying in the spring selection process are required to be very flexible in their choice of subjects.
Students applying to graduate programs must already be in the 2nd year of their Master studies at the time of departure to Concordia.
Research stay: If students plan to do research only and are not interested in courses, they should apply as academic visitor and do not have to go through the CU Rectorate selection process.

The language of instruction is English. TOEFL / IELTS is required for graduate programs only. The language proficiency requirements may differ for each graduate program. Students interested in a graduate program must have the results of the TOEFL / IELTS exam available very early in many cases, so make sure to register for the exam well in advance.
Applications to graduate programs may differ for each program. Make sure to read all the instructions carefully, including the application deadlines and language requirements.

The graduate application deadline for both Fall and Winter terms is March 1, so make sure to have all of the required documents, including language certificate, ready by this date.

Classes are taught in French, proof of sufficient language proficiency is required. Master's program students may enroll in a maximum of one bachelor's level course. Exchange students may only attend master's level courses after completing at least one semester of the master's program at Charles University. The partner university has strict rules regarding the selection of courses for exchange students; some are inaccessible or restricted, so it is necessary to carefully read the relevant information.

Documents for the selection process must be submitted in French.
As part of the exchange program, Université de Montréal also offers the opportunity to accept students from partner universities for research stays. The research stays can take place at any time, but their duration may not exceed six months. The offer applies to all students, including undergraduates. Unlike regular exchange program, there are no language requirements for research stays. For more information see Research Exchange . Students interested in research stays should follow the instructions on the website UdeM and do not need to go through the CU Rectorate selection process.
