The selection process is conducted according to established criteria, which also serve as basic guidelines for applicants. Here you will find information about what is emphasized in applications and what documents need to be submitted. It is therefore important to study these criteria thoroughly.

cover letter
study plan at the partner university
letter of recommendation from a department lecturer (we recommend in English, but Czech is also acceptable)
official proof of language proficiency at least at level B2, regardless of what proof the partner university requires
If the partner university requires a TOEFL/IELTS test and the student does not have one, they shall attach a statement to the official language proficiency certificate stating that they will immediately register for the test if they are selected at the rector's level.
The results must be available by the deadline set by the university.
certified transcript of academic results and overall grade point average, both for the entire period of study at the university (in Czech)
consent to the processing of personal data
Students should check the university website in advance for specific conditions regarding the admission process and studies. Selected students will be asked to fill out an application form and submit other required documents (proof of sufficient financial resources, vaccinations, etc.). After receiving the applications, the partner university will consider whether to accept the nominated CU students.
