Motivation: |
As part of my scientific development, I have struggled with a lack of discussion on various issues and I know that this has significantly hindered my growth. When I came to Imperial College for an internship, I saw the importance of regularly discussing with people from different fields and being more open to different approaches. That is why I started to get involved in networking activities and training students when I returned. I see for myself how discussions and questions not only help the students, but also me. Mentoring is ultimately challenging, but it can help point someone in the right direction. A mentoring program is always beneficial for both parties, who can learn from each other. |
